L99 build w/ GPI Max Package Results!!!&Track Times!!!!& E85

This car is set to hit the rollers again on Friday morning.
14 2SS with 35k bone stock right down to the air filter.
Baseline dyno numbers at GPI 339hp/344tq
This build has been a little bit of R&D on the VVT Max Package.
As far as I know the only Max Package that has not been built at GPI and the only L99 VVT on the street.
I told Aaron@GPI I wanted to be able to drive this car anywhere but I wanted it to run like a big cube motor with great throttle response.
Well here is what we ended up with. Lots of compression and lots of overlap

GPI MAX LS7 castings Milled to 11.5cr
VVT MAX 3 cam 233/252 112
Msd LS7 intake
Johnson lifters
Bo White PTB
Vararam CAI
Kooks 1 7/8" headers
Kooks full 3" catless Exhaust with a resonated Magnaflow muffler to kill the drone
Circle D 4c
391 gears
Udp
E85

I did the install and assembly, everything measured out exactly as Aaron said (this guy is sharp). This setup is as tight as you can get without flycutting. Ryan@GPI (Rhino79) built the start up tune to get the car up and running and back down to GPI for the final tune. Which I can't believe the job he did I have put a few hundred miles on this setup and all I can say is WOW! This car is still on the base tune but it is an animal! and drives really well. I was really concerned about the bottom end being flat with a setup that's all about rpms but I can tell you the bottom end and the midrange is crazy!! Some of you L99 guys have been waiting on these results for awhile well Friday is the day.

watching this thread as it is almost the same build I want. GPI Max Performance Package with Johnson Lifters. Kooks Headers, CAI intake. I have a 1LE so I have a 3.91 but I am swapping a 4L80E with converter. Good luck on the numbers!

Nice build. You are going to love this set-up. And, man you are right Aaron is a sharp SOB. The guys at GPI have me sold on their builds. You are going to be really impressed with Ryan and his tuning. Can't wait to see those numbers, but even without them your ASS Dyno tells you what you got.

You will see my car when you are there Friday, we decided to go with a bigger cam now. So I will have to wait until the 8th or 9th to get her picked up.

Yea. To be honest that is why I skipped the E85 on this setup for now. I figure the money would be better spent on suspension upgrades.
