Window Tint Shop in DFW
Hey guys,
Just moved to Dallas a few weeks ago. I'm looking for a place that does great quality window tinting that offers a lifetime warranty. I'm willing to pay more for the best quality. I live in the Oak Lawn area so I live in a central part of the city. Thanks in advance! See ya'll around DFW area! |

I got mine done at Classic Chevy. They were about the same as everywhere else ($100) and have a lifetime warranty.
I had a couple real small bubbles and they re-tinted both front windows....no questions asked. You can call Eric Hall and he can give you the info.

awesome. thank you so much, i bought my car at Classic in Sugar Land. I just recently moved here and i need to have my front strut mounts changed (factory defect) again...anyway that's beside the point. I'll definitely kill 2 birds with one stone when I go to get it repaired at Classic Grapevine. Do they do limo tint?

IMO these folks have done a wonderful job on my Camaro SS. I went with the Formula 1 series ceramic tint 35/15. Here is the link to their website.
http://www.lonestarwindowtinting.com...r-contact.html Absolutely no issues with the tint. Oh and they also do clear bras if you're thinking about doing that also. Here are a couple of pictures, hope it helps...Good luck!!! |

Fortunately, I won a $100 gift card from Classic Chevy 2 weeks before hand, so I was only out of pocket $99. Looks great tho... love it, 30 on the sides, 20 on the rear.

Depends where you are located.
I've had one car done at Pro Tint in Plano and another car done at Frisco Tint in Frisco. Both good places. Frisco Tint was a bit more competitive on pricing though. 35% regular tint for me was 150 no tax. Metallic 200 and ceramic 300. |

DON'T use Classic Chevy as where you get your Tint done. I had mine done there and there were areas that had peeled and they would fix it ... I'm still looking for a tint area to redo the tint ..

I couldnt find anyplace with 'good' tint film and lifetime warranty for less than $200. Some went on up to over $300 depending on which tint quality. I went with a higher grade tint for heat blocking without interfering with the radio signals and paid about $240.

Been wanting to do this recently... I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread. Caverman, what type of tint did you get exactly for that price if you don't mind?

Check with Winslow's in E. Dallas on Garland Road. They did mine as a subcontractor to Bankston Chev. and did a fabulous job. They've been in business in the same location since the 1950's. And they also installed the aftermarket striping package for me with no problems or complaints. A real class act. I highly recommend them.
