I put a new little carb on it for better gas mileage and it needs to be properly tuned. I have family in town next week and plan to dyno tune engine and get the carb jetted right. It runs on pump gas...low compression engine for street use. It sounded like it had a big cam because of the mis-fire due to the bad plug wire. Once it is ready....I still think it will still be #1 on the fast list until a real drag car shows up in our club...I'm guessing it will run in the low 12's since it did a 13.1 on 7 cylinders, with an out of wack carb, and rock hard radial tires. It's got a 10 point cage, stock front suspension, cast iron block, and an all steel body. It's gotta weigh 3800 or better... Maybe I'll challenge the #1 spot with a little skin in the game....unless the #1 spot is financially challenged and scared.... LOL ! |

I'm pretty sure I got videos of your runs but I think they were on James' camera so your gonna have to ask him to upload it.

No he didn't give a number because this is the first ZL1 that is using the package I've gone for with the Tri-Ys and meth Etc - they are also using my car for testing all the different throttle bodies - so Pete from Vmax will actually be there tomorrow testing ported LSA and ported LS3 etc against stock to see which is better, and of course I'll keep whichever one works out best!
So as far as numbers to expect we don't know - either way it's going to be much faster than it was. The real difference we will see out on the track, and I can't wait!!

4 days is the standard with everything I'm doing including the meth kit and wideband etc. The work also isn't starting until Wednesday when the headers arrive back from the coaters - but again I dropped it off earlier than it was needed (yesterday) as I can't get across this week due to work. Which other shops are you comparing to? Obviously not RX as they had butters car for 4 months and it was a 5 day build - and even after 4 months it had to be towed out of there
