Noise from rear cv joint

Anyone have issues with CV joints? My 2010 LS3 has the Hotchkiss max chassis brace and a CAI and that is it for mods so far. I was experiencing a high pitch click/tink type of sound very reproducible when letting the clutch out and taking off and between 1st and second gear. I could also create the noise when the drivetrain was changing directions (going from forward 1st gear, stopping, and then putting it in reverse). I took it to the dealer and here is their findings, "found cv shaft on right rear had rust making tink noise, cleaned rust, re torqued cv shaft nut and test drive to verified repair". Sound went away for about a week. It is still there now, but intermittent now during conditions mentioned above. I take care of the car and it is not abused in any way.....of course I open her up every now and then this just does not sound right.....rust! I am concerned there is more going on.

Hello CamaroSS_RJS,

I'm sorry to read that you are having this issue with the sound coming from your Camaro. I'd like to assist you in discovering the issue and satisfactory resolution of this concern. Can you please PM your VIN and dealership involved in the first repair? I look forward to your response and assisting you.
