Color Dilemma!
Good Afternoon C5,
I have a bit of a problem and I was hoping that you C5'ers with your infinite wisdom can help me, or at least convey your opinions. I will be picking up my camaro at the end of the week.  However I am TORN between Red (RJT) and black!!! I love them both equally but black will be hot as HELL in the summer here in TX, plus keeping black clean is a pain, but oh so beautiful. The red on the other hand is SEXY, but I don't want any unwanted attention from the fuzz although the upkeep is not annoying. I've thought about it a lot and none of the other colors appeal to me like black and red. WHAT DO I CHOOSE! |

BLACK! i am extremely biased.. yes it is hard to keep clean, but if you're dedicated to keeping it in tact it is truly beautiful.

I really hate Red, but the RJT is an awesome color, so I'd say go with whichever one you want, I own a Black Car and I love it, but it is tough to keep Clean and it does get very hot, so do what you want and either way you WILL NOT be disappointed!

I feel like black kind of hides some of the lines and beauty of the car..IMHO

There is no wrong choice here. The RJT is a gorgeous and so is the Black.
Park both cars nose to nose. Look at them from different distances. Should help you to decide. |

RJT is discontinued for 2012, so it will be a rare color down the line. I almost ordered the RJT with the dark grey ground effects.

It was between RJT and CGM when I was buying mine. I went CGM and have been thrilled with it. I wouldn't go black- too much of a PIA to keep clean. I vote RJT over Black.

I'm seriously considering flipping a coin when i go to purchase or just telling the dealer, "I want red or black, I'll take whichever you have in stock. If neither are in stock, which one could you get here faster."

Any color 5th gen clean/detailed stock Camaro is beautiful imo.
They come in different colors for a reason.
