If you don't mind me asking. About how many miles did you have on your car when you used the tune? I'm really considering a JRE tune but I have around 50K miles on my car and wasn't sure if I should expect substantial gains. I have a 2010 Camaro as well

The miles do not matter. You will get much more out of a tune if you have other mods (headers, intake, ported TB, etc) and if you have an auto vs a manual. Mods or not, a tune really wakes these cars up!

How well has your car held up since you had a tune. I have an auto and I've read all about how it wakes the car up but I'm bit concerned about any long tern affects.

I have not had my tune that long so I don't have a long-term experience to share but my car runs fine; better than before. However, I read hundreds of threads on this before I got my tune and it is very clear that it is more about who does your tune than anything else. A tune is a bunch of computer changes (engine and tranny) that tells the car how to respond. It's kinda like brain surgery; you wouldn't want just anyone doing it. Get a good tuner and you will be very happy. Get a bad one and bad things can happen.
There are very good tuners that frequent this forum. My advice is to do a lot of research then decide. If you want to PM me, I can get more into what I did and why.

Ted's tune is safe...you won't have any issues...modded or not. Talk to him or Kris on the phone or on here and get the ball rolling.

just went to him for a tune update, he did my bolt on tunes and just asked him yesterday to write my LS3 conversion + cam tune and he sent it back to me in 20 minutes lol and i have 100% confidence in the tune. His experience with these cars is priceless.
