Angry Hard wiring radar detector to pass. footwell

Spent hours removing the passenger footwell insulator and glove box to find a bunch of harnesses. No easy labeled accessory wire or ground wire.

Thought someone doing footwell lighting would have figured this out already but a google search provided only plug and play GM footwell lighting kit install instructions.

Anyone got a photo of which one of those wires to tap into?

well the the area above the mirror is the easiest place to hit if you are just doing a radar

Yes, the overhead console is easier to access the wiring. See http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...ighlight=radar

Or you could buy a plug and play harness http://www.gen5diy.com/Chevrolet/Cam...arness-220300/

Driver's side under dash where the wiring harnesses are is a easy to reach ground and power. I posted somewhere in here when I did my footwell lighting. But the overhead console is the easiest for radar.

Run a hot wire from the trunk to the front of the dash...
That's what I did.

I can't help you with the wiring from a side panel.

But I can vouch for the plug and play harness from gen5diy. Took me 15 minutes maybe to install it and it was simple and straight forward. Completely reversible too if you want to remove it eventually.
