They're terrible, they're not a Camaro.

The only thing bad would be trading in a Camaro. I did it once with my 2000 Z28 for a Z71 and wanted it back shortly after.

Was hanging out in one last week while I was getting mud guards installed on my Camaro. It was a mid-level trim. It was actually pretty decent inside and out. Roomy, comfy, lookin good all around. If I had 4 kids I'd buy one.

I have both, the camaro and the traverse. I like the traverse when we have a lot of people. It actually handles pretty good and has a decent amount of power as well..
My wife and kids are constantly telling me..... "dad, this isn't the camaro"..... Depending on your reasons for trading it in....

We have both and love both. My 2ss vert Camaro gets better gas mileage than the Traverse though. And I drive much more spirited in the Camaro....

I got one as a loaner while they were working on some TSB's my Camaro... very nice ride. The wife has a 2010 Equinox, which also is nice if you're looking for something a little smaller with better mpg

We own both a Camaro & a Traverse. We bought our Traverse in January. We have to move our collage age daughter back & forth to college in Oregon. My mother-in-law also has a wheel chair & we take her places in the Traverse (not the Camaro).
We have almost 4,000 miles. It seats 7, so we can take other people when needed. I know with gas prices as they are, MPG is important. However, for our needs it was a good choice. How do you plan on using the Traverse? Good luck.

Just convinced my sister and her husband to buy a Traverse for their family. It's a 2011 LT with AWD, silver with dark interior. At heart, it's a family hauler, but GM has put some effort into it. The 3.6 is a good engine, good sound, decent power in that application (280hp).
She had her heart set on a 2008+ used Honda Pilot. I went with her to check out the Pilot at first (used 2008) and it was truly boring, uninspiring. We looked at a newer one, and it just felt almost cartoonish. I sold her on the Traverse because it's got such excellent drivability. It's driver-oriented, but also has great accoutrements for passengers. It's basically what Audi would sell if it was in the business of producing $30k large family crossovers. |

Fifth place here. You can do better. Try the CX-9 Mazda. Not so sure about the Pilot.

Just traded 2008 hummer h2 (bad ass but crazy gas and issues) and 2007 Audi a6 s-line for 2011 2ss and traverse LTZ.... Both very nice, both actually hit 600 miles, (weird) but happy so far with both: except either lifter or exhaust noise in ss (not sure which one) and small squeak in the front end that appeared today in traverse.... But both comfy and cruise nice...
Traverse has TONS of room, seriously, it is much Quieter, smoother, and spacious than the H2.... Not to mention savings tons of cash in pmt, INS, and gas.... The LTZ is sort of zippy, 288hp and LT and LS have 281' according to GM. All due to exhaust in LTZ..... Good luck man |
