where can you find an actual 1000 hp 5th gen
and a convertible?
Barrett Jackson sold a vert for $400,000 COPO but not anywhere near 1000 hp

Barrett Jackson sold a REAL COPO to a very rich dude at the Barrett Jackson auction who is living the life of the rich and famous.

You have a car with home made COPO stickers on it, at an auction in Toronto.

It's not even close to a COPO clone.

1000hp is very impressive.

Hope you have luck selling it.

What is the reserve set at?

For sure not a real Copo because they are not street legal.
And as you said others are not near 1000 hp. But with the 150 shot of nitrous that takes it to 1150 hp.
We will see sunday if there are people that want a real fast street car.
Reserve can be lifted as many have been in the last few days.

That does not cover the motor and supercharger. To get to 1000 hp is not cheap. More news to be posted later.

But if you think you can build a 1000 RWHP car for under 100k with the drive train that can support it, let me know.

If you are interested in a turnkey, only 6800 km and not raced since newly built give me a call. I can send you a spec sheet of the build, dyno info and all the extras race wheels and parts that come with the car.

See you at the Camaro Nationals in Oakville June 9-11
Maybe we can have a burn out contest!!!!!!

I 'm sure you have huge $$$ in the car. A car with that much horsepower and work put into it must have some pretty good track times! Have any 1/4 mile runs or top speed runs you could share, maybe some video's?

Impressive looking car, and yes, powerfull. Unfortunately, this day and age, unless you find a special person looking for that specific set up, it's hard to get back what you put into it.

Good luck with the sale.

I visited the Camaro Nationals for a bit on Saturday.
Alot of very nice cars.
I saw the 1000hp copo clone.
I have to admit that I was very disappointed with the car.
There are NO similarities between that car, and a REAL COPO car. Nothing was proper if you are trying to go after the COPO likeness. The car is not worthy of the stickers that have been stuck to it.
Street legal, and street drivable are 2 different things. Apparently it goes from the trailer to the parking lot, and then back into the trailer.
No COPO comparable timeslips.
In talking to other guys at the show, the car is kind of famous for breaking at the track.
The real COPO cars are made for the track, and do not break.
Sorry, but you should have jumped at the 70k you were offered at the auction if you really want to sell it. Impressive dyno numbers do not make it an impressive car.
Just my point of view. Sorry man. It's a 6 year old car with some mods.

Sorry, didn't intend on sounding mean in that last post.
It's still an awesome show car, just need to peel off the COPO stickers.
