Warm your car up or not

I posted a video a few days ago of the misses taking the car out without letting the car warm up.

So do you let your camaro warm up or not? Does it depend on the car or not? Personally I let all my cars warm up if they have been sitting for any length of time and depending on ambient temp.

Fuel injected cars do not need any time to warm up for the most part get in it and go that's why it's so great!!!!!

No I do not let my Camaro warm up. My procedure is start car, close the door, fasten seat belt and finally put my glasses on, after that I start driving.

I let the car idle for a couple minutes. Just enough to pump oil everywhere, spin the clutch and transmission, enter open loop, and idle down to 550-600. IF I can.....if I can't...it won't kill it. But 85-90% of the time, the car is warmed up before driving off. It's just good practice on any combustion-based machine.

I wait until the idle goes down before I start driving. I voted no because that is not enough time for a warm up. I don't think it's necessary to wait for to warm up completely before driving. Just long enough for the oil to start circulating. That said, I do not go over 3000 rpm until the engine is at normal operating temperature.

Im old school but setting aside internal engine parts and their lubrication there are other parts/fluids that shoud be warmed up as well...power steering fluid being one of them.

I let all my cars warm up; some longer than others depending on miles, performance mods

If it's cold, I let the car warm up...so the heater will work. Otherwise I let it idle for about 20 seconds so I'm sure the electric gauges are working and nothing's wrong, then I drive

There's really no need to let the car warm up. I see people that let their cars get to 160 degrees water temp before driving - that's just silly. The oil in the crankcase isn't warm yet, neither is the transmission.

Get in car. Start car. Get situated - glasses, radio, girlfriend, whatever. Total idling time before actually moving is enough to get out of fast idle - usually about 30 seconds to a minute. Then drive easy for a few minutes. Any more than this is just a waste.
