6/28 Transformers 4 Santee Drive-In Meet (San Diego) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Anyone interested in getting together to watch Transformers 4? It will be at the Santee Drive in Saturday June 28th.

We have done this a couple times before with great results. We usually meet down the street at Sonic and then get in line for the drive in early so we can all park together.

Times for the movie aren't posted yet but it should be approx 8:30 since thats when the sun goes down.

Meetup point:
5:30pm

Santee, CA 92071

Leave sonic at 6:00-6:15 and drive to Santee Drive In to get in line for parking. It's about a 3 minute drive to the theater.

We'll have plenty of time before the movie to hang out and chat, look at cars etc.

Anyone is certainly welcome to meet us later at the theater as well if they can't make it early. I just can't guarantee that we can save spots.

For those who have never been:
I suggest bringing a folding chair. Its fun to all sit outside in front of the cars during the movie. Make sure you bring a jacket or sweater as it does get a bit chilly once its dark. Even if you sit outside you will still hear the movies from all the other car stereos as well as yours if you leave your windows down.

Did you contact the management and give them a heads up?

There is a theater in AZ that is having Gen5's line up a couple hours before the movie to draw in business....all participants are getting in free..who knows..maybe.....
