I have onstar activated on my car. I’ve never used it, but I had the noweeds open and hit my 2-step about a month ago and it called onstar because it thought I had been in an accident. I thought that was pretty funny

So a few years ago at my uncles wedding rehersal the OPP came to the church.

I was best man and was at the alter.
OPP announced they were looking for the owner of the Green Camaro.

I was stunned and went to the back to discuss why with the officer. They said someone hit the emergency button not long ago and then hung up.

Better that then it being stolen.

I am apparently one of the few people who subscribes to Onstar past the free period and over the years have accidentally pressed the call button at least a half dozen times.

You do that and there's nothing you can do but wait for the person to answer and ask how they can help you. You explain that you pressed it by accident doing whatever you were doing and they thank you and hang up.

It's like this.

If you were needing the cops and pushed the button, you would probably still be waiting.

But since you were cleaning the window, the "woman" probably assumed you were doing it wrong and called for backup. You best be lucky you were not tazzed and Shot.
