Springs are stock. I'll be staying stock bottom end when i do the cam.. until something breaks

I'm doing similar but with a procharger. Will do a cam and bigger fuel pump this next winter.

From everything I glean here, the stock rods and pistons are ‘pretty good’ on FI unless you’re beating on it at the track hard. We all know the crank is an iron beast. Someday I will go FI and -try- to make the stock stuff live, cept for the AFM crap. Unless I hit the lottery...

Ron, good life on stock parts with the Pro Charger?

Yes so far, I read also aslong as you stay under 14lbs boost all is good. On 10lbs mine made 612rwhp and 584rwtrq. I'm very happy with it.

Talking to jannety and they were saying up to about 800whp on stock internals. Ron i almost went with a procharger, was very close. I am happy with what i have but i know those centrifugal peak higher. How's the low end grunt with the procharger? I was surprised to see over 400 at 2250rpm but i was expecting the torque to peak higher honestly.

With having an intercooler mine was 3200 when it cleared the 400rwtrq. But when you drive it, it seems like there is endless power..front end lifts and she's gone...

Ron and hornet, how are the iat’s? I hear prochargers run a bit cooler than pd blowers.

I'd have to plug in my scan tool, i haven't checked. Supposedly it only runs a few degrees hotter than the ambient air temp but i haven't tested it. It would make sense to me i guess, less piping so less time to absorb the engine bay heat. Too bad you weren't closer ron, we could run them!

Mine is usually right at ambient to 1-2 over. Roots blowers can get heat soaked easier then a centrifugal blower on a road coarse track which my 1LE was setup for. On a dragstrip that sitting at the tree mine raise about 10° over ambient.

Still on stock bottom end and I made 760 rwhp at about 14lbs with a ProCharger D1X through a 6L80 and Circle D 3200-3400 converter.
