No, there are NO ride alongs on the road course. Yes, there are ride alongs in autocross. |

It's a rain or shine event. The track won't shut down unless it's torrential rain with strong winds. Only then will they consider some form of reimbursement but this is why we have to do this as nonrefundable. Let's just cross our fingers and hope for the best.

For those wondering about the actual cost of the HPDE insurance: I just purchased the HPDE insurance. I rated myself as Novice attending 4-7 events yearly. My KBB value unmodified was about $26,500. Modifications (see below) brought value up to $41,000. I opted for 10% deductible (about $22.00 extra) instead of 15%. Paying by E-Check avoids the $5.00 "convenience charge" for paying by credit card. I am only doing Thursday at NCM. The total premium was $301.

Any idea if they'll have helmet rentals? My (old) helmet is Snell rated but doesn't give the specific year. It has passed some road course tech's and failed others this year. I am waiting for the Snell 2015SA to be made available later this year, which is why I haven't bought anything..
