Any interest in a Winthrop Cruise this year?
Back before I moved from Washington State for a few years, I did a yearly Camaro5 Winthrop Cruise...for a couple of years, anyways.
Was curious if anyone was interested in doing a cruise there again. I may not have a Camaro anymore, however I still love them and would love to see some of you again! Videos from previous years...

I'd be interested. Where does this cruise start and end at, usually?

Some people head home at night after reaching Winthrop, however most people get lodging out there for at least 1 night. Some of the hotels require a 2 night stay though. I've stayed in Rivers Edge Resort and Hotel Rio Vista. I'm thinking of staying once at Sun Mountain Lodge, however that's a little spendy. We've had dinner up there at the Lodge in the past. I'm actually thinking of doing a second day out in Eastern Washington to Grand Coulee area or something and returning to Winthrop, maybe stop by a winery or something that second day. People could join for one or both days...just some good sightseeing out there. Maybe we'll run into a herd of cows again and have to slalom cow crap!

Yes, Yes, Yes!!! We missed the last two you put together before leaving for Durham. We are IN!
As far as pass openings. We could go over Snoqualmie then over Blewett pass and onto Winthrop.

OK, so tentatively, I will be planning this trip for 5/28 through 5/30, though the second and 3rd days are totally optional.
First day would be Everett area to Winthrop, hopefully via Route 20 (Stevens Pass will work if 20 is still closed). Second day would be a tour around the Columbia River, perhaps to Republic and Lake Roosevelt, ferry across to switchbacks and Grand Coulee dam. Tons of scenic Grand Canyon type vistas out there. Third day would be to return home (if anyone is left, lol). I'm doing this as 3 days for myself so I can get a room this time at Sun Mountain Lodge. Other hotels such as Hotel Rio Vista (which is right next to river) and Rivers Edge Resort (also right next to river) have a policy of 2 day minimum stay. Other hotels there aren't quite so picky, so you should be able to find one that will let you stay one night if that's all you want to do. Let me know if the 28th, at the very least, works for you all.

Sorry, won't be able to make Memorial Day weekend. My mom is flying up from TX for the two weeks before and after that weekend. Guess I'll pass.

This would have been a great event for me to participate in, however, I'll be in Dallas from the 25th-29th. Should something change I'd be down.
