Cooling fans not working
Cam was installed and car was tuned. Today I drive the car and the temp outside is above 70. I looked down and my temp gauge was in the dead center. It's never been that high. I came home and I never heard my fans running. Popped the hood and nothing. No fans running. I disconnected the harness and tested the fans. Both work high and low. I've swapped relays and took a test light to all related blade style fuses. Everything checked out. I've got to get a volt meter tomorrow. Any body have some advice on this?

So what temp is dead center? I run an obd2 gauge so don’t really look at the oem gauge that much.
If you were moving the fans wouldn’t be needed and you probably have an air pocket trapped. |

Check your temp on your DIC display. Check and see if fans turn on with A/C on. Give a little squeeze on those rad hoses. Obviously you've checked your coolant level right? No boil over? As mentioned you may have an air pocket or something didn't get plugged back in during reassembly.

maybe the fans were turned off accidentally in the tune?

I paid attention to where the gauge got to this morning and about 1/2 way is where I would expect a stock thermostat to get to. Mine has a 170 thermostat and it gets to about 3/8. The fans won’t kick on unti upper 220’s unless changed in the tune.

This is my only means of transportation. I'm waiting on a ride. My ac fan didn't even kick on. That has me concerned. Before tune I'm pretty sure my fan kicked on around 204.

The tuner could have started with another tune (either stock or an existing modified) that might have had the fans set to different cut on by point. But the not running with ac doesn’t sound right.

Just as a heads up, I did find the problem. 2 actually. I had a relay that was loose and I found a coolant leak from where the oil heater was deleted. Looks like I'll be ordering the upper radiator hose from a 2012 as it's solid and not a 2 piece. Thanks for the help.
