Found an early build 2010 SS what's it worth?

Early enough to have the chiclets. I believe it is red jewel tint, original P Zeros. Just a shade under 20K on the clock. Car is emaculate. Asking price is $24.9

Forgot to add it is an auto L99 car.

that is a fair asking price for that car, that color, in excellent condition. You may be able to get them down another 1k-1.5k, but you best be a sweet talker or have a hot lady negotiating for you...lol.

How would you know? It is also a CPO car.

I believe it's about $2K too high. There are many of the same year with similar miles out there for $21K-23K.

You would know if the previous owner kept all the paperwork for repairs. What are the warranty terms, if any, for a 2010 CPO car, BTW?

I think maybe I would ask $24K for my 2010 L99, but I do have all that paperwork.

The asking price is representative of a car that is excellent in every way.

This should be helpful.

Too many 5th gens out there(especially L99s) to spend that much on one in my opinion. Seen a few pretty nice 1LE's for around 25k here. There is a 1SS 2016 manual for sale near me for 26k. Just food for thought.

I was referring to TBS, not safety recalls.

A dealer should be able to look up all the applicable TBS repairs by the vehicle's VIN.

The significant TBS for 2010 are the bleeding down AFM lifters and a cross threaded fitting on the coolant line to the oil cooler, at the engine block. Very early builds had some sort of batter cable problem as well, that I'm not familiar with.

Other widely reported 2010 annoyances are sticky seat back latches and a noisy USB interface. (I gave up on mine and use bluetooth for my iPod.)

Even if the car is in perfect condition, $24.9K is $2-$3K too high; $22K would be the highest I would pay. As already stated, I've also seen a couple nice 1LE's going for $24-$26K.

In any event it seems they are holding their value well. $25k is all I got on my early 2010 2SS on trade for my 2013 ZL1 vert in 2012, but it was in December, which is one of the months dealers use as an excuse to low ball you. It sat in their showroom until May when someone traded in a Harley and a Hyundai Genesis for it.

Also, those original tires are ready to be replaced for safety, even if tread depth is OK.
