Thoughts welcome...

So over the winter I decided to cam the car... I added ID1300s and went from 18% lower to 22.5%. Well just talked to the shop and it wasn’t producing the psi expected. 11%. So now gonna stay with the 18% and add a 2.5 upper.

Before cam I was as stated in signature 605 on 93 and 670 on E85. Any thoughts on what to expect now. And the cam is S19 lsa cam from my speed shop. Prob isn’t enough info on cam but just wanted thoughts.
Thanks

Was hoping for mid 700s. 720-730. But I guess we’ll see. What i was confused abt is why the 22.5 lower wasn’t producing the psi. And how the 18 and 2.5 upper is gonna be any different.

What cam? Should have made more boost 13-15 range even with super lift ranges. Is the relief valve set correctly?

Wish I could tell ya. It’s at a shop getting the work done Was told the 22% wasn’t spinning the SC. Only produced 11psi. I was told the 18/2.5 set up would be optimal.

I don't get why they are saying that the 28% pulley isn't spinning the SC. It should turn it about 2000rpm's more than an 18%.

did you reinforce the brick or do any porting before you did the 9.5 lower?

you wont have any problems with it? I might just order a lower pulley now instead of porting and reinforcing the brick. how much mor eyou think I could gain from going from an 8.6 to a 9.5?

I know this is an old post, but did you ever get a dyno sheet from this? I see new numbers in your sig so i assume you did. Did Speed inc do the retune? If so do you have the graph showing the difference before and after the cam on 93 and e85.

Dyno sheets

The first I believe is when i got E85 and the second is after the cam and I believe I added ID1300 from ID850 and went from a 18% to a 22% pulley with a 2.5 upper as well when the cam was installed. This spring everything is getting ported so I’ll have another graph..... hahaha
