Dash Swath Question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does anyone know for sure the color of the plastic swath across the dash? I was under the impression that unless you ordered IOM that it was a kind of grey color. However it seems now that some cars are coming in with it being body colored. Take a look at the pics in this thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19446 and you will see what I mean.

Gray or black leather get silver door/dash inserts.
Beige gets beige door/dash inserts.
inferno orange gets orange door/dash inserts.

Exterior color does not impact the interior color (except IO interior is only available with certain exterior colors).

So you are saying that my Rally Yellow is going to have SIM dash inserts? That sounds like a pretty ugly combo...

you can also have yellow and white, dealer installed

we don't know that yet.

It should be, but we just don't have enough info on white.

Not really "silver ice metallic" but Yes. If you got black or gray interior, it will look like this.

I really don't see the problem with the combo. If you do, you can get the replacement yellow inserts from GMPP.

Well you won't ever really see both at the same time. The only time you'll see ABL is at night and from the inside of the car. It's very minimal. I don't think the blue is strong enough to clash with the exterior paint.
