It is all done and was tuned about a month ago.

Still only producing 550 ish whp because the belts slip. Supposed to have a cog set for the rear of the maggie on the way so I can get it to turn up the boost.

Max I can get right now is about 8.5 psi.

I just kept the stock volume and have the pistons honed only. Forged the insides and lowered the CR down to about 10.1:1 from 10.4:1 so not a drastic change. Car runs great.

Not sure if anybody mentioned it from the original post, but those bearing certainly looked damaged to me. Even with 95k miles they shouldn't have had that scarring.

Anyway though, doesn't matter now since you got it put back together!

I thought the same. Most said they were. The metal goig through the engine was the culprit, BUT, still should have held oil pressure.

So it seems. I ordered a set of cog pulleys a while back. Haven't come in yet. I may need to order them from someone here. Any ideas?

are they just making excuses as to why you ain't got them? if so, i'd get a refund & go elsewhere. personally, i've just been scanning the forums (here, G8, cadillac, LS1tech, etc) to see if folks have them for sale off their cars.

Client and friend of mine. I'm not sure what is happening.

I'm going to tell them where to buy it at I suppose.
