AWESOME Comercial. I'm grateful for for the many miles of enjoyment driving GM cars most of my life...

Nice to See GM acknowledge what the country did for them.

Well done GM. Seems to me like a good opportunity to focus on the positive side of this.

The message here was, IMO, obviously intended for those who are not die hard GM supporters and, for me, this was long overdue and honestly I appreciate that they finally came out and said thank you. For me, this was a 'we understand it was the American people's money, we understand we never should have gotten here, and for those who aren't entirely enthused with the idea of government bailouts we get that too. Thank you, and for those who don't agree with what happened thank you anyway'

This little commercial just made me enormously more accepting of the new General Motors. Honestly, my whole attitude is different now because this makes it seem as though their attitude is different now. But then, I am from the South, and down here a simple thank you goes a very, very long way. The needle on my respect for GM meter just went way up.

Nice to see that someone at GM realized they NEEDED us and that they really do appreciate the help. Simple recognition or a Thank You goes a long way.

Wow, yeah, that is a great commercial. I can't see how anyone can say GM should not have been given some help. This is truly an amazing story. Long live GM!

GM would have gotten a buyer whether the government intervened or not. I'm not even sure why the government did step in.

Awesome commercial! Makes me even prouder to have two GMs in my stable. What they did in that commercial takes a ton of brass. Kudos to GM for acknowledging all of us for the help they received.

Great commercial, saw it during the Detroit vs New England football game today. Maybe should've been titled "We've All Tripped Over Our Own Shoelaces"....

I guess some will never forgive GM...

Too bad. Whether we agree with what happened, we've all, major corporation or not, had to humble ourselves and ask for help. And then do the right thing and say thank you...

IMO, it's a shame how unforgiving we've become...

Everything comes with a condition these days. "I'll forgive you, but you better ______________."

I'll endorse you but ______________."

I'll help you but ______________."

I'll work for you but _________________."

I'll marry you but ____________________."

I'll hire you but ____________________."

To me it's pretty obvious why GM chose Thanksgiving to release that add...

How hard is it to just say, "you're welcome."

Well said! Taking responsibility for your actions and thanking those that help you along the way....exactly what everyone in America (and elsewhere for that matter) needs to remember. Good core values go a long way!
