The load vs inflation pressure line for any given XL tire is identical to the load vs inflation line for 4 load index numbers smaller in the SL table up to the max SL pressure rating of 36 psi. Then the XL tire load ratings continue to increase up to the XL max pressure rating of 42 psi.
I have a copy of the official load vs inflation tables, and a little spreadsheet lookup app I put together for determining inflation pressure adjustments when either load index or SL/XL load range changes are made. Below is the comparison for 99SL and 103XL. The applicable cells are shaded (not including the single yellow cell, that's an SL load @ 32 psi to be matched by the second tire's load index and load range). Norm

They feel strong and very solid compared to say the TSW Nurburgrings and Forgestar CS5Vs I had. I may have to use spacers with my longer Pfadt studs up front to run these square. Also from what I worked out, these rims at 19x11 @ +25 would need a 3mm or 5mm spacer to put them at a similar distance from my strut on my car. 10mm would make them comparable to a +15 offset. I still don't trust spacers though, so I also have more camber on tap so today when it gets a little warmer or tomorrow I will see if it works with more camber adjustment.

There's also a Rays Volk Racing ZE40 19x11 +25 wheel that is similar in fitment to this Apex wheel as well. The Rays option is fully forged, around $1000 and also has the groves to grip the tires from rotating when braking or accelerating like the Z28 rims. I should sell my Apex wheels and go for the Volk option instead. Only thing is Volk racing has like a 3 month + waiting time from order date to delivery . They also have a 19x10.5" at +22 offset as well. These wheels are extremely light, like GA1R light.

Re-71r is a great tire switching to it from the re-11 I used last year. I have herd that they will come out with a 305-30-19 later in the year

What about the longevity and consistency of RE-71Rs? In the Miata forums, those who tried this tire are impressed by the lap times and the traction, but they say it wears out very fast, too, and is not as consistent as other reliable tire options (like NT01).

Well I Fired the RE71rs,(returned to TireRack for refund) and hired a set of Nitto NT01s 305-30-19 for all 4 corners. The Nittos are stronger for sure very stiff shoulders total opposite to the Hankook RS3 I had which has very soft shoulders. I can't wait to run these NT-01s on 19x11s all round.
