US Import Camaro with Xenon Headlights

Hy thogeter

I hope someone here can help me with my situation. I bought a 2010 Camaro LT from the US and want to ship it to Switzerland. As the LT is a non-RS I thought it would be a good idea to upgrade to the AAC RS Headlights with Dual Color Halos as long as the Car is still in the US. Now that the shipping date is nearing I reread the import Documentation and registration Information. I noticed a paragraph concerning the Xenon Headlights. It states that if You have Xenon Headlights You need an Automatic Adjustment System and a Cleaning System. So thats my problem. I guess the AAC Headlights don't have neither. Would it be possible to add this things? Or would it be possible to replace the HID Xenon Bulbs with Halogen Bulbs to bypass this Paragraph? Or would I have to switch the complete housing back to the factory non-RS Lights?
Please someone help me with my problem I'm really desparate because I always wanted a Camaro and it would be to bad if I couldn't registrate it just because of those shitty lights.

You should have buy the RS one in first place. Now, the best thing you can do is to import the car as it is, pass the technical examination in your country and install RS lights AFTER you make registration. Nobody will notice changes on later examinations.

It wouldn't matter either way the Camaro has neither auto leveling projectors or headlamp washers.

Thanks for the replies.
So I guess there isn't an easy solution for this problem. Either I build the regulator and washing system or I eebuild the standard Headlights.

The Camaro actually does have headlight washers you just have to buy the parts and the tubing to make it work it's an OEM parts but you have to find them from dealer

The Headlight washer is an Original Part by the Mexicen Model, my Dealer in Swiss is www.us-carconnection.ch in Zürich. He built this but at the Import models from America. He has the washer sure on Stock. The second Problem is the exhaust, Original Camaro ist too loud for the swiss "MFK". you need to an extra muffler welding.

Slightly tangential: where did you get the front license plate holder, or did you make one yourself, and how is it mounted to the bumper?

The UK has a IVA test for imports, They remove the HID bulbs and put halogen bulbs in for the test, then replace the HID bulbs after, so no need for washers/levellers during the test.

European spec cars are factory built with HID's AND washers/levellers with a few other mods to comply with regulations.
