have you tried using bootcamp on your mac? i know there were a few others using mac's and concerned with tuning as well but not sure if they broke down and got a netbook for a few hundred $$ or what route they went.

This is some great work. I was suspecting that you were working on the KR manipulation with Vince, because Vince and I had discussed that last year during the fall time and then my engine failed. I am trying to lay low, and make sure there are no engine issues anymore before jumping on a dyno :(

But this is just awesome. When you mess with the KR, most people get very concerned with the fact that the sensors won't pick up the high KR on your engine and you will have detonation. Well let me tell you guys, the day my engine went down, the sensors did save the day by cutting off the fuel, but at that point it sounded like someone was knocking on my engine with a hammer. So if the knock is that bad might as well pull over and call onstar.

Despite me saying all that, I still believe that manipulating the KR is the next step in grabbing some power from the engine. But I am more excited about the power that was left behind the last time cam phasing was changed by Vince.

I still haven't flashed the tune I bought back in December, by the time I get around to doing it, it will probably be obsolete! Good work, look forward to hearing more - subscribed!

Sounds pretty cool!!

Maybe a dumb question...and my apologies if so...If more power is generated on E85...why isn't everyone tuning to use it?

For the guys who have the tune already or are debating to buy it, take advantage of it now, there's no reason to wait really.

The stock guys will receive the 12-14 hp peak gains that were dyno prooved. Where as heavily modded cars like mine, may not see a peak change but an insane amount of performance gain at the lower and mid range RPMs.
