So random ranting aside...

Is it worth upgrading the intake to the plastic LFX? I have the Iceolator on my LLT, so I assume the heat soak is closer to what I would see with the LFX intake.

The lfx does flow better ..over all you might gain a small amount as magnum told me its more of a finish mod .. be careful with the iceolator with FI they have a tendency to leak from the rtv..

Good to know. I wonder if adding another gasket instead of rtv would be better.

I know I'm not seeing this right, especially when said person does nothing but bash other companies that sale a similar product. Look what happened when IPF released their kit, one "company" here kept bashing it until they finally copied the whole system and sold it for $1500 less using Chinese parts. If you are referring to what went on in the Facebook group, the product he kept bashing holds the top 4 spots, followed by 2 stock. When you claim your converter is superior to another companies, make sure it can at least perform better than stock.

Too bad I suck on the drag strip, but I built it for the road course...Now on to other builds. Oh...I remember.

I met Derrick and saw Gretchen in person in late 2011. Pretty cool.

Well that didn't go as planned... all the bolts that hold the back plate to the motor wouldn't come out 3 broken Allen wrenchs and one stripped bolt Got em all but one and had to stop for the night... hopefully tomorrow is a better day
