I'd kept the Z28 if I had the garage space for all 3.
Wish I could have bought it. Looked super clean!

Never mind Top Gear's Chris Harris importing one to the UK.
Regardless, nice car and congrats on the gt350. Please give us updates, of course we are slightly biased over here in mullet town. Last edited by Z28pex; 05-04-2019 at 11:34 PM. Reason: oops forgot enjoy the gt350 |

Yeah I loved Harris's review of the Z/28. If I was going to track the Z/28 and could afford to do it on a regular basis, I would have kept it over the GT350 or a GT350R. I do feel that from all the reviews on both cars that the Z/28 is better for an all day track car (even if you switch out the brakes) versus the GT350R. At least that is what I have read from those who drive both. However, since I have very few "fun" roads to drive on near me, I decided to go with a more pampered driving experience. I'm sure I'll regret selling it (because of the rarity and uniqueness of it) like I do all my other toys, but life is to short not to experience all the cars you can. If I was richer and had a place to store it, I would have kept it.

You and your responses are awesome. Its obvious the z/28 is one of the special cars out there, lucky us. But that said, “so is your new GT350”. I read over at the mustang forums and saw your post over there, hence the reference to Chris Harris.

I guess my Z/28 has already sold. It is no longer on the dealer website. If someone gets on here who has bought it in GA, just let me know and I'll tell you all about it. I gave the dealer all the documentation including the original window sticker, but I still have all the maintenance paper work. Would love to pass it on to the next owner so it keeps it a little more collectable. It was a wonderful car with probably the best engine ever built.
