I have a bad feeling about this.
I just heard from GM that my car that was built on the 5th in on the way to Detroit for further QC. I just hope it's not a 60 day deal.

I wonder if it's the battery cable issue is the reason, It seemed to happen right when our SS were on the line!

I think the long QC waits are over. . The first ones had issues that need fixed one at at time. .

Get your Dealer to call the DBC (Dealer Business Center) for you... they'll know the status.

This all sucks. I was trying to figure out in my head how they were going to fix the battery cable at the factory. Simple math and hypothetical. Lets say there are 3000 SS still there needing cable taping. 15 minutes per repair. Then lets say you had 15 bays open to do the repairs with 15 mechanics and 15 car shag boys moving them around That would be 60 cars an hour or 420 to 480 per day 7hrs vs 8hrs. It would still take nearly 7 working days to repair just the battery cables. I really doubt that they have 15 mechanics with 15 open bays to do the work in. They might have 6 bays and 6 mechanics shag their own cars so maybe doing 2.5 per hour that would only be 120 per day 8hrs. This would take up to 25 days to do the repairs.
that is over one month of real time (5 work weeks). Please GM let us come fix our own battery cables.........What can we do? I cant think of a thing. Does anyone know anyone that works in QC in Pontiac. Lets just get some answers so we know what to expect. The speculation is worse than the reality.

Is that the one where Bumblebee gets sucked into AREA 51 by the evil GM QC technician, and by the time he gets out the world is run by talking apes and the Statue of Liberty is neck deep in sand?
