I found this show to be absolutely dumb.... Yes... i'm a car guy and I was really expecting something more.... it's not even funny.... they tried so hard to make it funny that it went straight to dumb.

I've gotten to watch a couple of episodes now, pretty fun stuff.
Who remembers the shows host from the Dodge commercials with his mullet-buddy in the beat up old duster yelling at the guy in the Dodge truck "HEY that thing got a hemi?" |

I enjoy seeing the early American muscle cars in action and there have been a couple of '69 Camaros in particular, 600 hp or so, that have been absolutely awesome. The show is a fun watch, at least for now.

I am watching less and less TV these days thanks to all the reality crud, but this looks like it might be fun..

The road course seems to favor muscle cars and even with the few turns that it has, several of the domestics have gone off the track. What's up with the rolling start? The way they pick the cars doesn't seem fair to the challengers. The jokes are amusing but that's about it. |

I like the concept but, watching it makes your iq drop,
The Sti jap car outran big old muscle around the track with only 315hp. Then they make it race a 700 hp car In a straight line. Yea that seems fair, how about a 2jz built supra with the same power levels. It's faster than a redneck.

I find it entertaining, nice seeing the old muscle flex on the track. I saw a forum where a bunch of tuners were complaining and bashing it calling it unfair. My only question for them is why do guys line up outside the gate waiting when they know what there up against? 2 type of racers in my book, the ones who cry wolf after they lose and the ones that just go out and enjoy win or lose.
