2014 Camaro SS L99 bolt ons vs 05 Mustang GT bolt ons
So my friend is going to get his dad's 05 GT 4.6 and I believe he is getting an axleback exhaust and a cold air intake of some sort and so I indubitably challenged him to a quarter mile when he is done with those installs. My 14' SS is a L99 and has a CAI intake, ported TB, and a SLP Loudmouth 1 exhaust. I wouldn't say he is a pro at shifting so who would win? I know I have about a 100hp advantage but I've read about 05's doing 0-60s in high 4s which is about the same as a Stock SS.

You should be 12.8-13.1 as is, and those 05's are appreciably slower. You should beat him pretty good but you might need to practice leaving on stock tires.

didn't want to start a new thread so what about my car against a 370z auto (a friend of mine, haven't challenged him but he is a GMR regular)...this one's pulling close I can feel it.

You should beat the Mustang easily. Not sure about the 370Z, my friend has one but we have to wait for spring to give it a go.

I think you need to get a manual first of all
 but anyways you should be that mustang pretty easily.

370Z will probably be a closer race than the GT. More power, quicker shifts and same weight as the Mustang

Given this is Camaro5 and one should expect a Camaro bias some of you are being a bit silly. Stock vs stock these it'd be a drivers race and since the mods listed do virtually nothing it'd still be just that, a drivers race.

I dont think its quite a drivers race. A kid just going and getting his dads manual GT isnt going to be running the best times.
And L99s with light mods are 13.0 cars.
