Some of the guys I know have the SS with that A8 and they are smoking fast in the quarter mile with just bolt ons and a tune. You will be happy, those cars have a lot of potential. Have fun, congrats.

Yeah, as a brand new car they were definitely pricey. They look darn good though!

Get close to one in person. It's subtle, but they have the emblems in there over and over again in the hash marks. It's kind of a neat touch.

First want to thank ZED SLED for fixing the image for me...

It was actually 45 degrees and sunny in OH today, the rain over the weekend cleaned the roads so I decided to actually get it out this morning and take it on a short cruise just to test out the dual mode shifter, drove in auto for awhile then put it in manual and used the paddle shifters the rest of the time... After playing for awhile I think I have this beast figured out because the paddle shifters are definitely different than an actual manual... I just lift my foot off the gas for a split sec, just like I would in a manual and the shift is fast but it really sounds and feels like a manual, without the clutch... The car itself drives like a race car should so now I have to get it on the track and see how it does on an actual road course, can't wait!!!

And to Wizard1183, if you look at the hash mark emblems, the logo is actually etched in the design, it looks really cool and that is one of the reasons I bought the car, that and the red/black interior in leather is what really sold me...

Really have to say I built my 13 V6 to drive like a race car but this car is already pretty much setup for it so at least I don't have to do a bunch of mods, at least not yet!!!

Yes, these hash mark racing stripes with the logo are very cool. The SS red line edition has them. You have to get them from Chevy. I have seen guys who cut them and put the decal in different places like the hood.

Yes, if you look close at the hash marks GM ghosted the Gen6 emblem in the hash mark decals.
