lower income folks noticed a big hit before gas hit $4.00, but not a whole lot was done. because those in power werent feeling the effects of it....yet.

I described them as blame-worthy for a reason. It's like that South Park episode where celebrities complain about how they suffer from illegal downloads by not being able to buy the latest, greatest toys. After you get a certain amount of reality, you seem to forget about how hard it was before you got it. It's sad that they get so detached from average life. It's even sadder that these guys are the ones saying that the Big 3 are detached from reality.

They're called "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" and "I Just Wanna Live." The first one was an early, memorable hit complaining that celebrities have no reason to bitch about their luxurious lives. The second one is them being celebrities shamelessly complaining about photographers and press writers harassing them.

I keep buying old CDs. My most recent classic is a Guns N' Roses album. My collection includes everything from Nickel Creek to Bon Jovi to 2Pac.

I'll go ahead and say it: 2Pac isn't dead. That guy has released more albums and made more money "dead" than alive.

It's a greatest hits album. I have this OCD thing where I buy every CD for every song I own. I have over $3k worth of music under my bed, but that way I'm okay if my computer ever crashes because I'll just be able to rip all of the CDs to my next computer. With the record of my first Mac, a 1995 Performa that still runs to this day, I have doubts that I'll ever have to replace my current MacBook.

Canada is the only country in the G7 to pull that off. Every other countries GDP has been falling, we're also the only country in the G7 that may post a budget surplus for this year. It isn't so sunny in the US, Europe, or Iceland. Even China's economy looks like it's slowing.
