Kind of a bummer we have to swap to such a large hood. Would of been nice to keep more of a sleeper look. Would a zl1 hood work?

They are using a ZL1 hood with a modified insert.

Here is a pic of me testing 4" in the back and 5" up front. and my hood hits. 3.5" in back and 4.5" upfront and it works.

But only way to find out is to put the hood over one. And i hope to do that as soon if rsv07 lets me

But my luck this new hood will be 1/4" to short

If you want to sell that VIS Terminator because it wont fit the SC lemme know

Definitely can't beat the MPD hoods, I have the Z-Force hood, been on the car for 3 years 50k miles and looks just like the day it was put on. Gary's Customs did the paint and install. And I thought the pricing was really pretty good...

Well said. Like I've stated here on a few threads t hat has been deleted on several occasion, the lack of professionalism and common courtesy on C5 is totally mind boggling, not just on the vendors area but almost everywhere. It seems people do not have forum etiquette or most times act like children. I know for a fact that I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Imao we need new parts and lower pricing would hate to see you stop. To put it in laymen terms theres more than one place to to get things and most thing inspite may look the same but be different, differ in fuction and manufacturer. This is called business. I hold no ill will for any v6 vendor (except one he's not on the forum anymore) and wish all success. Now bring on some new parts.
