A lot of people have actually said that Guitar Hero is harder than playing actual guitar...

Performing with a band on the spot IS tougher then just jamming on guitar...
I can see that....

I've met many a guitarist that "Rips it up" in his bedroom..but can't jam in a live setting and make anything but noise....

The group thing does take a certain "Vibe"

No way, you can playin all those songs in a matter of months, you can take years to learn guitar and play that same song u played in the game.

Impossable, and i have been playing drums for 3 years and thise drum in the game ain't nothing like real drums, but it is hard and fast, i just don't feel like i accomplished somthing, but i bet if weren't playing drum that would encourage me to do so. I've heard those games have inspired many young gamers into guitars....

Don't know if you are familiar with "Through the Fire and the Flames" by Dragonforce, but they had one of the guitarists from Dragonforce play it on Guitar Hero. He said it was harder on the game than actually playing it on a real guitar.

Again...the group performance does take a knack...but so doesn't jamming out on freebird.

Matt and his gang sounded like crap till they let the drummer set the beat. I have audio, need to get vid before they all grow up and go their own ways. I just hope he sticks with it for his own personal entertainment.

He would spend all stinkin day in his room practicing from the time he was 12.
Sounds like a video gamer don't it.

How about if they made a gamer guitar with 144 buttons on the neck and 6 on the body, might get interesting...Especially when it gets to chords.
