unfortunately not much here in the Chicago area. Woke up to freezing rain, temps warmed up and now its just rain. Possible inch or so later in the evening.

If I am going to be stuck with the cold temps I would rather it snow then not. The two snow storms back in 2010-11 were awesome!

6-12" in the metro Rochester area. I'm praying for lake effect wrap around after it passes. We have only gotten 37" so far and average around 100" a season. Love the snow, hate the salt.

We here in Austin suffer from what I call a sever lack of weather. It is like there is a bubble over us that stops all weather. May sound nice as far as driving the car goes since I am lucky enough to really drive it year round, but when it looks like it is going to rain, I get giddy like a school kid.

Of course when it does rain, or even look like it is going to rain, the freeways gridlock and commuters resort to cannibalism to survive their 45 minute commute.

When it snows, or freezes...Shut it down. All of it! Hoard food, stock up and water, and load your pistols because Armageddon is upon us!

Suburban Boston, 12-18 inches or 24 to 36 inches, or 8 to 12 inches, depending on the panic of the moment.

I love how news and weathermen are now talking about the blizzard of 78 and comparing their computer models to it. They didn't know the severity of the storm back then until it was on us, and today, they can still only guess, based on modelling.

My prediction: it will probably snow. Might be a lot.
