We are slated for 15-20cm (6-8inches)....around the Toronto to Ottawa corridor. I don't have to go into work until tomorrow night, so the worst SHOULD be over by then. I just worry about my wife who has to fight it tomorrow morning.....when it is supposed to be the worst! Let's hope a good set of Goodyear UltraGrip winter tires and Audi all wheel drive get her there safe & sound!!!!

Of course when it does rain, or even look like it is going to rain, the freeways gridlock and commuters resort to cannibalism to survive their 45 minute commute.

When it snows, or freezes...Shut it down. All of it! Hoard food, stock up and water, and load your pistols because Armageddon is upon us!
This is exactly how Lawton responds to winter weather as well... We get more weather through-out the year than Austin, but it's usually just showers or t-storms. If we get snow, it really is the end of the world.

Mid 60s and rain today. Mostly sunny and low 70s thru the weekend. Looking forward to a nice 70-mile cruise down to the Pony Wars on Saturday!

I'm so glad I don't live in the northeast anymore...

I'll take Winter season any day over that heat and humidity that Texas and Florida get a majority of the year, keep it far away from here.

It is cold, in the 20's and clear. (Right now!) lol
We are supposed to get slammed tomorrow with a winter storm, possible blizzard conditions. It is going to be a 36 hour event. Staring with light flurries Friday am and then ending on Saturday, between 4-8 pm. The worse of it will be from 6 pm Friday to about noon on Saturday. They are calling for anywhere between 12-30 inches of snow.
The governor called off all school and urges all non essential employees to work from home and urges all cars off the road by 12 pm tomorrow. The buses and trains will be shutdown at 3:30 tomorrow.
Can't wait! **rolls eyes**
