Hospital called me earlier in the day and said they had a 7pm slot available. I took it, was home by 8 pm!

But I am getting sick of MRI's, seeing that I've now had 4 since last year because of a shoulder injury. I'm not claustrophobic (would be a bad thing for a career Firefighter!), but 12 minutes in that can seems like forever ...

Ok, so who knew about the 2 mile road course their building off Rt 11 north of Syracuse called The Central New York Raceway Park. It will also have a 1/4 and 1/8 mile drag strip along with a 1/2 mile dirt track. I found this out while talking to the president of the Syracuse Corvette Club last Saturday. They were at the indoor march car show at the fairgronds.The road course is going to be lit up for night racing.They said they were going to operate it like the Glen does.Open it up to car clubs etc.SCCA was there with them showing some of the race cars.The drag strip has been put on hold for now.Suppose to open next year.

Toms canvas is about finished, pretty soon he won't need clothes, lol
