Thanks for the info indeed, the first thread was an LLT so I'm gunna rule that out and the second thread no matter how you slice it is from one's own personal experiance and it could have been the original LFX cams mace released the one's DGM ordered and are for sale now are a revision. Could they be just another problem? Sure but we won't know until we try. But I appreciate the input and concern.

Believe me, I want the cam upgrade to be a good upgrade. That upgrade is all I need to be in the 11's. Hope it shows good numbers. Definitely need to see 25+ to be worth the cost. Because of my high milage, I would do a timing chain as well.

I agree 25+ would need to happen to make it worth it. From my conversions mace says with a tune 30 rkw can be expect and that would convert to 40 rwhp. They claim even more can be have with a slight raise of the rev limiter. I think if we can get these cams to work, get a good tune with raising the rev limiter to 7.5k and porting the rads on the LFX we could realistically see 50+ rwhp this would put a manual LFX up around 330ish rwhp. Obviously you can't add hp from each mod and have your RWHP final but I believe it is do able!

I did a 2012 LFX 6 speed last week with just an intake, throttle body and mufflers and put down a hair under 290 RWHP

Lol...KMPrenger!! Ran into a snag on the dyno tune and have to bring back Friday....ugh! The issue was it was kicking out of power enrichment above 4,000 rpm.. HP is sending a new beta version download to correct issue ~ dont quite understand it all but bump till Friday evening for results....

Arrrgghhh!!!! Rarely, if ever, do we hear of anyone having issues tuning an LFX, and now yours has one!
