We read plates from our mirrors and its been more then helpful. Doesn't mean their necessary though hence Policing in Quebec goes on with out front plates.
Double edged sword really. What harm does it cause vs what good does it cause

I support the cause, but don't have ANY faith in the gov't listening to us. Politicians are nothing more than people with power to STEAL our money and waste it to benefit themselves.

I don't like putting out my personal info on a website I cannot confirm it's background. There's too much cyber crime out there these days. I know that even gov't and large company websites are subject to hacking, and have been, but there's some protection in that.

That's my personal opinion and you don't have to agree with me.

Move to "Albert eh" or as others call it Alberta. Rear plates only. Kind of makes up for nasty winters here. Ok..... Not so much!

When I lived in BC, which requires front plates, I never ran the front plate. The cops really didn't care as long you weren't being an idiot. I was pulled over for speeding and took the tickets like a man. It's just a fine that has no effect on your points and most of the time you can slap it on and go back to the cop shop and show them the plate on the car and they tear the ticket up.

Bottom line is they are not going to get rid of the front plate law in the provinces that have it any time soon.
