that would be the way to go right into the hud, anyone ever do this? You could tap into the serial data line. Might need to program something.

I'm guessing it works because the requests are coming from the same type of device. I might have to do more testing but from what I understand, the protocol can't distinguish between polls from two different types of devices and respond accordingly.

My guess with dashlogic is its causing a data flow congestion issue since the dashlogics receives and sends info vs 2 devices just reading the data

I think his point was he didn't want something hanging out in the open all the time. At my work they can interfere with your foot getting in and out all the time.
