lowered ZL1's?

I've asked this before a d there don't seem to be a ton of them out there. I've thought about it myself but haven't pulled the trigger. I'm interested in the responses!

That makes three! I'd love to be about 1" or 1.5" lower but I do not want to sacrifice handling characteristics. I'll eagerly await a response from another member who has done this right. If anyone has suggestions on where a high quality shop in central Ca. (Fresno-Bakersfield area) that could do this type of suspension work, I'm all ears!

I have the Pfadt springs on my car. It looks great, but I'm not satisfied with the ride quality. I'll most likely be switching to Eibach Prokit springs shortly... Little more ride height and more compliant ride.

This is the only shot I have showing some of the side.

What do you not like about the ride quality? Too stiff, pushes in the corners, too low? I am picking up a set of the Pfadt springs today and would like some feedback before purchasing them.

mine would be lowered if I ever sell my spare wheels. I was going to go with BMR 1" drop since I have a vert. $237 bucks shipped for the springs. im just waiting for the money to be available. I feel like I have a 4x4. My SS was lowered pretty good compared to the z.

also wont hurt the mag ride.

Ride quality is very subjective, but for me, it's a little too stiff. The car handles great IMO. As for ride height you have to be VERY careful in and out of driveways and must take them at an angle. I've scraped pretty bad twice now and I was pissed. Any time I go over a speed bump, I put the suspension in 'sport' do stiffen the shocks and control the body motion more. I've had issues over speed bumps where the collectors for the Kooks headers have scraped.

Ok, thanks for the response. My SS was on coil overs at about 1.25 inch drop front and back so all that you just mentioned is what I am use to doing. I'll see if I can live with it, if not I'll have the stock springs still.

So how much do the Pfadts drop compared to the Eibach?

I believe the Pfadts lower 1-1.25 inches where as the Eibachs are 0.5" front a and 0.3" rear.
