Looking into FI/SC For 2011 L99 that's tuned

For those who've SC'd their L99s, have any of you installed on that was previously 'tuned' and modded?

If so, which one did you choose? After evaluating the options, I would consider doing the SC myself.

What would make a good 'bolt on' for a modded L99?

Appreciate any input (strictly have bolt ons, GPI manifold mod, headers. hfc, TB) DOES have the 1LE strut brace

(Sorry mods -- just noticed I should have put this under FI-V8 -- would be nice if I could move it...)

Check out my build thread... It has pics and videos of everything ive done.

I started with cai, headers, cats and catback...tuned. Then converter...tuned. Then cam package and cut outs...tuned. Then whipple with 85lb injectors...tuned. Loving everything ive done...next is meth, pully down and a better converter for the sc.

Which SC you get should be determined by what your plans are for the car.

Really just investigating. SLP 2300 is one I think is interesting. Things are on hold but wanted to really see what options are there compared to heads/cam install.

Thanks!

What I meant was, what do you plan to do WITH your car? Road tracking, drag, or just street fun.

I gotcha -- Daily Driver - mostly street fun, once in a while drag /track when the urge hits...

Not looking to hit the track often -- just once in a while...

Thanks!

It's damn hard to beat the ECS 1500 kit. The ONLY think i'd change is the IC. I really like the vortec race core.

What IC would you consider using?

That's it. It has a restrictor plate that allows the SC to spin faster, thus producing boost quicker. I imagine their IC works fine, just seen the results of the bigger VT race core and it's damn impressive.
