ONE MORE MOD!!
Well guys and gals, going to do 1 more performance mod to try to get to my goal of 500rhp on stock heads. Purchasing a BBK 102mm TB and sending the snout in from my LOD intake to have it bored out for the TB. Right now I still have the V-Max TB on there and am at 475rwhp. I chatted with Rafael at LOD yesterday and with that being done I should see anywhere from 20-25 more RWHP. So we will see how it goes. Should be close, and being we ran her up to 7500rpm so far and she still wanted to make power, but stopped there for safety reasons. Should be close. Cheers..

My one more mod has been going on for a few years now. I've done my upgrades mostly from info and advice I've gotten on Camaro 5 over the last 9 years. My next last for sure maybe mode based on Camaro 5 examples is a EPS cam custom ground by Jeff Skinner. Merry Xmas to me. I won't be 500 whp like you but I will be tracking your success.

Stay away from BBK throttle bodies. BBK makes many great products, but their throttle bodies aren't one of them.

Yea, after I get there I will do a set of heads, trying to get what I can out of the stock ones first. This way I have some more goals to set while I can. Just a tad at a time since my budget is getting tight since I retired back in July, due to Covid.. lol. And a supercharger is out of the question, unless someone is giving 1 away free!! hehe.

Hey Roader, haven't seen ya for a bit, lol. Yea my peak HP was at 7500, that's where we stopped, and it was still going up. Didn't want to push it too high. Since I don't have forged internals and top shelf valve train parts such as aftermarket rockers, the rest of it can handle the revs.

Gotta ask, what's up with the BBK TB's?? I saw a vid on youtube of 1 a guy had that the blade was rubbing the bore, so he loosened the 2 screws, centered the blade and the issue was gone. Thanks

Many people have had blades stick, modules go out, etc. There's many threads about it from about 3 or 4 years ago.
