This is a common issue with gen5. Moats common issue is a bad battery have it checked/replaced. If that's not it below is a link that covers just about every scenario. It helped me with my issue which ended up being a wiring issue.

To my knowledge the V6s don't get the heat soak issues the 8s do. It seems like the majority of the time the stabilitrack is the first code thrown out there when its really an electrical slash battery related issue. Not always but usually.

My experience has been that Stabilitrak warning comes up for a number of reasons. I grenaded an engine and got Stabilitrak warning. I've heard it come up for various mechanical problems.

I had Stabilitrak light keep coming on. I found out that I was missing a body ground. Added a ground from bell housing to the body and all my problems went away. This actually fixed my transmission issues as well.

I had this problem once. Loose spark plug wire caused it.

can be a million things. First step pull dtc codes. Very common is throttle body issues. Will throw stabiltrac on, limp mode, bucking.

Check spark in plug and wires. the rough ride and stabilitrack are indicators of misfire. I had a plug wire come off just so slightly it was intermittent but had very similar issue.

I Am on my 3rd one, flagged the stabilitrack, and displayed REDUCED
POWER MODE !

Never got a stablilitrack error for misfires, and I had them for a while, till I
fixed the problem.
