3M Clear Bra

What's a fair amount of 3M Clear Bra coverage for 1300$?

I was quoted $650 for all forward facing paint and lights, from two different shops. I didn't do it but that was the going rate around here.

Thanks for the replies, one shop qouted me 1500. 1300 for the clear bra which would cover the full front bumper and 24" up the hood, side mirrors, the rockers, 4" up the doors, right before the rear wheel where its flared out, and finally the back bumper right behind the rear wheels. The other 200 is for a tint all around.

I paid $1,500. Full front bumper, full hood, full front quarters, A-pillars, side mirrors and he had some left over and gave me a 5" stripe above the front windsheild... so the whole front of the car and that was Venturashield.

Thats a good price for that amount of coverage. I charge about the same for that with VentureShield. It would be money well spent and you would be protecting the areas you really need to with this car.

That's nuts! Where are you people driving that you have that many rock chips to justify spending hundreds (or>$1000) for stick on plastic? Wow!!

I would just like to keep my car in good condition because I plan on keeping this car for a while and since its my daily driver I think its worth it. I just wanted to see if I'm getting ripped off or not, so thanks to all of you for posting replies it helped me to get a good idea of what I should be paying.

This paint is so thin that it does not take much to get a rock chip.
I live in phx az and drive about 70 miles a day and if I take the freeway this car would be toast.
When I go home I will Take side streets just so I don't have to take the freeway.
I paid $600.00 to have the front and mirrors and front and rear rocker panals done..
We pay way too much for this car to get this kind of damage...
Thanxsss

Don
