So.. What's the 2015 keyfob look like?
Last year we heard of the key recall, and the ugly switchblade key fob solution they came up with.
What does a new customer for a 2015 Camaro get for a key fob? A new purpose built slim-line fob and key, or the same hack they did to the 2014 models at recall time?

This is special design for the people who complain about the Key Fob Blade accidentally turning their cars off while they drive! |

Looks like you can accidentally open the key ring and swallow one of them. Better get a recall going.

The 15 Z/28 I was looking at was the same hack job they had for the recall and the 14s.

Yep, 15s have the same bootleg fix. Thats why some people have opted to revert the keys back to the old switchblade configuration. It is very simple to do.

I fixed mine with a wee bit of superglue. Works like a charm! I did have to keep opening and closing it for a few days to loosen up the 100 gallons of superglue I used.

You must have read the DIY wrong, they only call for 87 gallons.

Those keys reminded me of a story that I read yesterday: http://www.theonion.com/article/baby...out-over-38494

My service rep said, "You know you're under recall." Rolled his eyes.
I said, "Yeah, I'm not gonna do that ." He then said, "Well, I legally had to tell you, and I can't comment, but..." And then he rolled his eyes again.
