Most people drive it there then strap it down to dyno.if you want to be fancy you could trailer it there

Didnt you kit come with a flash device and a tune? Most SC kits come with a start up tune for your injectors etc. You shouldn't go wide open but more than enough to drive to the dyno.

No, i got this from Stark, a member here. The KB tuner works on a single vin and can never again be used in another car. They want $400 for another one use tuner, and I'm not going to do the equivalent of light $400 on fire. I have a car hauler and diesel of my father's that can get the car to a roller. But once i do this install, the car will be not drivable until it can get to a tuner.

Eric Eldrith (Innovative tuning / Billet Speed) in Maryland is a buddy and says that worst case would be he and me a ball park tune and we start playing games of me data logging the car and sending it to him and him adjusting times and sending to me. This would be a slow process.

If he's a decent tuner and knows your injectors and throttle body, shouldn't be an issue to give you a start up tune.

Does this 1st Try place doing welding/exhaust?

I was going to order the TSP kit, but I can buy everything for less than $200 (just a universal X-pipe kit with bullets) which would ensure a "perfect" [custom] fit. I don't know anyone local that can do it, and I'm not really looking to run home to State College with open headers to have it done, lol

So what you do is let your car set un drivable for six months until a tuner gets flown into the area. Ridiculous.

With the KB kit, headers, cat delete and cat back, will my car even start and power itself onto a trailer with the factory programming?

I guess could always pack the parts in the trunk and drive down to their shop? Could consider it a small vacation?

Would be an awesome drive home!

if you could get the trailer lined up with the car, and push it to the ramps, you could winch it up into the trailer.

Any recommendations for a tire installer in the Pittsburgh (more specifically Irwin) area?

Thanks!
