Strut Tower Brace and Whipple 2.9 Question??

Is there a strut tower brace that works with the whipple 2.9L? I have the BMR brace on my '13 Camaro SS but now it doesn't fit with the supercharger being installed. I can use spacers to raise the brace up some but I'm concerned about the integrity of the brace if I do that. Also, does it make that big of a difference not having a brace?

I have the hotchkis brace on mine (2011 SS)...fits w/ whipple, no issues. It was on my car when I bought it, but from what I hear, it's really not all that necessary...the kind of mod you buy when you've run out of other things to buy.

I have the stock 1LE brace on mine, fits without issue. I might just leave it off, after adding all that weight of the SC...

Can you post a pic of your brace so I can see how it fits over the supercharger?

This may be an option, but not sure if your Whipple will fit. This is a Halo Supercar strut tower brace. You would have to contact them to see if there is enough clearance.

I’ve got a vert and the stock brace clears the Whipple without an issue.

Brace isn't needed.

I'm running a stock 1LE brace on a 2011 with an Edelbrock E-Force on it. Has a lot of clearance under the brace.

sorry, never saw your request...here's a shot (click dropbox link below). Plenty of room. Looks cool, but not sure it actually does anything or is worth the money...if it wasn't on the car when I bought it, I wouldn't bother with it.
