I love that color for the 1LE.
Okay maybe I am a bit biased but I love how it is turning out so far. Question. For your GTO clutch resevoir Did you use a turkey baster to drain all the brake fluid from the car ???

Haha, thanks! Green to red was a change, but I'm loving the red so far.
Not so much a turkey baster, but yeah drained it all - it's more a giant syringe. the turkey baster is easy to spill fluid everywhere cause there's not much vacuum. The syringe came from amazon I think - it's a big industrial one that's holding up pretty well to the fluid. I routinely change the clutch fluid with it.

Just a little bit of dress up this weekend. I'm trying to clear out a lot of my leftover garage projects, and finish up what I can before I no longer have the benefit of the garage. I had 90% of a can of cherry red krylon so I taped off my hood vent drip tray and started spraying...
Naturally, what started as an effort to get rid of some extra paint ended with me needing more coats - therefore a couple motorcycle trips to the store for MORE paint. Ended up with Apple Red Rustoleum, which seems to be a closer match to the Red hot, but looks a bit orange in the sun. I masked off the edges because I didn't see much need to paint where the push pins would be, not to mention how it could get scraped up removing those push pins. Don't mind the pollen and water spots... this time of year in CT is a hard time to try to keep your car clean...

I also decided to show the catch can a little bit of love. Ordered the nicer AN fittings and a bit of extra hose so I could dress it up a bit. Shout out to Elite Engineering for a quality product and fantastic shipping!

I also finally got around to finishing up my JL Audio install... but like an idiot I completely neglected to take pictures of my handiwork...
And I went way overboard with my wiring - I'm talking full on OCD - every connection was a non-insulated crimp connector (I found a really sweet crimp tool, worlds better than those simple crush connectors), fully heat shrinked, wrapped and cut to perfect sizing. I had some serious wire pigtails ready to go for my crossovers, shame there's no photo evidence I now have: JL 700/5 channel Amp mounted to a board in the OEM amp location JL 12" W3 in a Sub Thump box JL C2 components in the doors You can barely see in my shift knob pic the JL remote level knob for the sub. After compromising and settling for sub-par performance in my last install, I went with remote control of the sub so I can feel the bass when I want and tone it down when it shakes my mirrors off.
