Maybe if I had cloth seats but, not with the leather. My other half says she needs all the cute puppies posted here.

Two dogs always sit nice in the passenger seat. There part of the family. The Camaro is just a car.....

I could imagine trying to take a cat for a ride in my car. I would probably lose too much blood to get home safely.

Cats can be put in a pet carrier, but not dogs. I'd never let one of my dogs ride shotgun unless it was an emergency. Plus they smell bad and that smell will stay.

I think it all depends on how your dog behaves, how big they are, and if you have other options. We have 2 pups. A 9 month female American Bulldog (Bugsy, 55 lbs) and an 11 month male Mastiff (Moose, 130 lbs). Bugsy can go in the civic or H3, but is usually with my daughter in her TC, with just a blanket or towel. Moose goes in the H3 with a cargo blanket. We used to just give him the back seat, now we fold the back seat down and give him the entire cargo area. Just my personal preference, but if the dogs are going with, I leave the Camaro at home.
Bugsy @ 7 months (2 months ago)... Moose @ 7 months (4 months ago)... |

I recently bought a 2013 Camaro to transport my two dogs. Traded in a Crossfire two-seater for it. Also have a Honda S-2000 roadster. I bought two doggie seat belts on Ebay to keep them secure and safe. So far, so good!

The previous owner of my car apparently took their dog everywhere. I have a moderately deep gouge on my driver side interior door panel, just below the window. Also, the chrome button on my E-brake handle has been chewed up a bit, very obviously from a dog. I have always meant to replace/repair those, but I just never get around to it.
I am aware I will likely have to replace the entire E-brake handle assembly over a stupid button. I'm not sure if the door panel could be repaired. I will take care of it eventually as I plan to get this car as pristine as possible eventually.

No animals are allowed in my Camaro period. Almost every vehicle I've ever owned had scratches and scrapes on the interior plastics from the previous owner/s. They were mostly wear and tear type things, but it really bothered my OCD not having a mint interior.
So, when I purchased my Camaro new back in '15, I vowed to keep the interior as pristine as I could. In fact, I actually replaced a few minor interior trim pieces that got scratched up from being on the dealer lot. |

my wife has a toy pomeranian. bought a padded car seat that straps onto the console lid. works great. easy on, easy off. only use it when the dog rides.
