315 on rear question

Guys/Gals,

I am thinking of getting some new Wheels for the 2SS and I am thinking 20x8.5 fronts and 20x10 on rears. Anyone have or see any issues with 275/40/20 on the fronts and 315/35/20 on the rears?

Thanks all or the help.

No problems with right wheel offsets. I have them with 20x 10's all the way around on my car with coil overs lowered. No rubbing of any type.

Typically, a 10" wheel is about 1/2" too narrow for a 315 tire....(per the manufacturer's recommendations). Yes, it will most likely fit on the wheels without any serious problems, but just sayin'......

I've seen people put 315's on a 9" wheel (bad idea), so at least the 10" wheel is a bit more realistic.

10 inch rims are a slight bit small for what they truly recomend

Here is the sizing chart if you want to take a look

Assuming with the right offset, you would have no issues with the tire sticking out past the fender and spraying the sides of the car with debris either?

With the correct offset the wheels do not stick out, mine tuck quite nicely.

If you are going to run Nitto's, no issue with a 315, if you run Pirelli's need to drop down to a 305, the 315 will rub on occasion on rough roads....

although mine do not rub even on the the terrible Oklahoma roads, could be the stiffer springs on the coilovers

If you are not lowered a 315 will fit on stock wheel with someone that knows how to mount and balance! If will only rub at around 100mph taking turns
